“Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.” Winston Churchill Brian has + 30 years of experience in global investment management. Prior to joining Green Harvest, he consulted to global asset managers seeking to build “next generation” businesses. This includes connecting to strategic partners in the ETF, Alternative and FinTech space. Brian is the former President of Direxion ETFs and the CEO of the Hatteras Alternative Funds. From 1990 through 2008, he led two large distribution organizations -- Eaton Vance and Allianz/ PIMCO. During this time period his sales teams raised over $200 billion in mutual funds, ETFs and SMAs. Brian is credited with the idea to create the Pimco Income Fund which today one of the largest actively-managed mutual funds in the world. Brian structured and completed 24 closed-end fund IPO’s, which raised over $20 billion. Brian earned a B.A. in Economics from Montclair State University and holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designation. Brian has also completed the Allianz Global Leadership Program at the International Institute for Management Development (I.M.D.) in Lausanne, Switzerland. Brian is the former Chairman of the Board of Governors for Money Management Institute and Board Member of the Foundation for Financial Planning. Brian served as a Board member at Wheelhouse Analytics, LLC. He completed the Massachusetts Institute of Technology FinTech Certificate Course: Future Commerce. Brian is an Adjunct Faculty member at the Fordham University's Gabelli School of Business (GSB) teaching a new graduate level class; Disruption in Financial Services.
