Stop The Corona Insanity - The Data

The problem with those against vaccines, is that they base their arguments on information which has long been debunked. Vaccines are safe and they protect you from diseases which can be live changing or even deadly.

I understand that rights argument - we can not make it mandatory that people can't smoke - that is taking away people's rights. And if they want to damage themselves, that is their prerogative.

But when someone refuses a vaccine, they can fall sick to some of the worst diseases known to man. And they will be CONTAGIOUS. At that point they are endangering other people as well. And that risks overwhelming hospitals. And when our healthcare system is stretched too thin, it means people will die whom could have otherwise been saved. Many won't even due from that disease, but from unrelated problems such as heart attacks, because we'll lack the medical resources to save them.

Are COVID-19 Lockdowns Weakening Our Immune Systems?

They are comparing apples and oranges and using it to prove apples are better. For example, you cannot compare illness rates between countries when the countries do not have the same testing criteria, and the % of sick is based on the number of tests. You can’t compare absolute number of deaths between a country with 10M people and 300M.

COVID-19 Should Be A Cause For Concern, Not Panic

GIles, I believe you are operating off of outdated information. You said that SARS kills more people. While people did say that in the beginning of the coronavirus outbreak, it is no longer the case and we've far surpassed the death toll from SARS.

You can't compare an outbreak that is just getting started, to one that has completely run it's course. It is also impossible to know what the actual mortality rate of COVID-19 is, as currently we're only tested the most sick. Far more people are infected now however, and many more will die. So while panic is never a good idea, there is cause for serious alarm.

Coronahoax - How To Prepare For What Happens Next

How could every country in the world, including enemies like Iran and Israel, the US and China, all be in on the same conspiracy? That is literally insane? And every single person who claims to be sick is faking it? Oh please. Eventually most of the world will be sick. When it gets you, will you publish a retraction? I doubt it.

I know Netflix paid $1 million per episode (source: www.thewire.com/.../50354/).

But Netflix has a very different model than iTunes since subscribers pay a flat fee to watch as much as they want. $3 million per episode when Apple gets nothing unless someone pays for it sounds high. But perhaps the price went up once it became a hit. Millions of people likely downloaded them on iTunes so Apple could have still made money off this.

I disagree about USPS. I don't think the government will let them fail. In fact their deal with Amazon to provide weekend delivery is breathing new life into them. Amazon spends billions and billions of dollars on shipping every year. USPS went from talking about giving up on Saturday deliveries, to adding Sunday deliveries (for Amazon exclusively).
