Inflation doesn't track inflation unless you look at multi decade time frames. It tracks real rates. Fed tapering and rising rates is bad for gold because gold competes against the risk free rate. This is gold 101.

#Gold has been the same price for 10 years… actually not a hedge against inflation at all… you lost 10 years of purchasing power. I see gold going to 1500 by this years end as more of that market cap will be going to #bitcoin.

ECB buying down rates means Fed free to do the same w/o harming bond demand. Lower world wide bond rates is good for Gold. All eyes on Fed next week.
