12 Industries That May Not Exist By 2020

Too many of these miss the point: While landline telephones are going away (some 3rd world countries have jumped straight from no phones to cellphones) and cable TV has overpriced itself out of existence, other parts still matter. Wallets are needed to keep together whatever new id/payment stuff we'll be using. Some kind of package postal service will still be needed even if some incumbent postal services kill themselves through bone-headed focus on delivering unwanted junk mail at maximum inconvenience. Storage equipment will be needed even if only selling to cloud data centers, but overly consumerized dead-ends like USB hard drives are obvious short term fads. Self-driving cars will be lacking the ability to handle all eventualities for decades to come, so there is a market for having professional people do the car management when the passenger is too young/old/drunk/sleepy to do so. Uber is just another lawless scam, don't use Uber if you wouldn't risk hitch-hiking, taxi laws are all about preventing crimes between passenger and driver. All in all this list is so superficial, it is no good as investment advise.
