America has never  been more divided.  When we section ourselves  off and only interact with likeminded individuals, we are worth off as a nation.  This is what Putin wanted with all of his interference.  Creating seperate communication sites, whether it be Truth Social, Parler, or whatever Mastodon is, is a step in the wrong direction.

Musk has the right idea creating one platform where we are exposed to ideas outside our own. Where we can be forced to think outside our comfort zone.

Just read about your wife. So sorry to hear this devestating news.  Maybe she can pull some strings in heaven to get globanomics into the maintream!

If he wins another term, two things will happen - he will put only yes men and pyschopants in power that will do his bidding, just as Hitler's did. And without needing to worry about a third term, he will be far more bold in tearing apart our democracy.

Or even more likely, he will find a way to stay in power beyond a 3rd term.  I for one believe he belongs in jail, and I hope that happens so he can't run again.  But I also fear the response from his personal army of minions and cult-like followers will make January 6th look like a birthday celebration.

I hope they throw the book at this guy.  Cheaters like this ruin investing for everyone.

Frankly, I'd say #Meta/#Facebook deserves this.  Such a slimy company that cares nothing for its users, only profits.  $FB
