One change - I no longer thing #Trump is a sure thing to win a 2nd term. I used to think the man pissed gold, but I've come to realize that he's lied to us from the beginning about this outbreak, I've had friends and family who died because they listened to him instead of the experts.
The coronavirus is officially recognized as #COVID-19. Why do you call it the Wuhan Respiratory Syndrome? Are you like #Trump who has taken to calling it the "China Virus?" Why not call it what it is?
On the contrary, we would have been better of if #Trump kept his mouth shut and did nothing. Then maybe we would have at least listened to other countries and medical experts. Instead Trump repeatedly lied, said it was contained, would go out on its own in April, wasn't even as dangerous as the common flue, encouraged us to travel, go out, be social. It's almost as if he wanted Americans to die.
I don't believe in conspiracies. But China could have and should have done more to warn the world about #COVID-19. Instead they tried to cover it up and arrested medical professionals who tried to sound the alarm. But blaming China or the WHO is simply an excuse to divert attention away from #Trump's inaction. There was still ample notice yet Trump did nothing.
#Trump? Wrong? Never thought I'd hear those words from a Trump supporter! But yes, I think saying we will be over the worst soon is too optimistic. Things can still get a lot worse. And that doesn't even address the problems like our destroyed economy, looting, riots, etc. Like Italy is starting to experience.
#Trump says COVID-19 will peak in a couple weeks (at least in the US). Obviously it won't be all better by then, but we'll be through the worst of it. I hope he's right. Everything else he's said to date turned out to be overly optimistic.

This can't be true. I specifically heard #Trump say that anyone who wants a test can have one. Though he might have said "Anyone (rich and famous) who wants a test can have one" - sometimes the sound cuts out on my TV. ;-)

"Protecting the economy" is why #Trump did not take proper precautions from the beginning. And yes, if he did, the economy would have taken a hit. But it's going to take a hell of a bigger hit once the country goes into complete lockdown! Trump should have been warning people, instead he encouraged people to go out and live normally. We all hope the #Coronavirus would fade away. But policy can't assume that will happen. #Trump being surrounded by the virus could ultimately be helpful. Of course, he is likely worried about himself and not his rally followers.
#Trump keeps pretending the #coronavirus is no big deal. I just read that Congressman Matt Gaetz who came into contact with coronavirus patient spent the weekend with Trump. He may find out first hand that the virus is not a hoax after all!
