So #Apple $AAPL will continue to bleed its US customers while giving sweet deals to the Chinese who know the Iphone is no longer a status symbol, but is in fact inferior to Huawei and Samsung.

Update 5: #iPhones are inferior to #Samsung and #Huawei. Poor cameras, can't handle heat. The list of best phones is in the article. And iPhones are overpriced. The cult of #Apple, the cult of #Tesla, the cult of #Trump may all be failing. The cult of America is a cult of power. Prosperity is more important than power. China appears to want prosperity more than power. Power without prosperity is doomed to failure.

This makes #Apple's numbers even more impressive $AAPL

Yet #Amazon is the one that has made the foray into #pharma. Seems like it might have made more sense for #Apple to do that or for Amazon to have made health more of a central focus of its tech. $AAPL $AMZN

This is a fascinating article and an Apple/Tesla partnership or merger would create a formidable presence in this space. But while it's clear why #Tesla and #Musk are in desperate need of a white night to sweep in and save the day, I don't believe you've made the case for how this would benefit #Apple or #TimCook. $TSLA $AAPL

The problem with $BB is that it is too hidden. Many people don't even realize this company still exists. I for one thought #Apple drove them out of business. #Blackberry's best days are behind it.

But you have to factor in customer loyalty and like #Apple, #Tesla has rabid fans. For example, Apple's stock should have tanked when it came out that they were deliberately slowing down customers' products so that they would be forced to buy new products - that's a complete betrayal of their customers. But it barely caused a blip. $TSLA $AAPL

Looks like people are finally starting to have enough of apple's ridiculously high prices. Could spell trouble for #Apple stock. $AAPL

@[Joe Black](user:4869), personally, I think you are right on both counts. But I'll take it a step further. I think #Apple did assume they'd get their most loyal, die-hard fans to pony up $1,000 big ones for their newest #iphoneX. Which is plain wrong. This should have been targeted to the luxyury market. Not to the masses who can not afford this, or should have really invested the $1k elsewhere.

Time will tell if this works for #Apple. But there is simply no reason to drop $1k on a cellphone. It seems to me that Apple has become out of touch with the common people or greatly over estimated it's customers' loyalty.

This is why I switched to #Android and tell others to do the same. Why buy a product when the company cares so little about its customers, that they will intentionally break that product to force you to buy more from them... knowing it will just happen again.

#ipad and #iphone were #Apple's cash cow for a long long time. But sales are drying up. The company has a loyal fan base, but most won't continue to upgrade as long as their older products still work so well. Apple needs to find the "next big" product if they want to stay on my buy list.

While #iphone sales are not as high as some hoped, I think too many are over reacting. #Apple is still an attractive company with a rabidly loyal fan base. The company is still making a ton and due to various tax benefits, are about to overloaded with cash. $AAPL

Gotta love #Apple!
