This Household Name Has Tripled Buffett’s Returns For A Decade
Look at Domino's Pizza ($DPZ)
It took me a while to really understand how Domino's could be performing so well. Domino's Success is really about technology, scale, and demography.
A nationwide company like Domino's can take advantage of technology in a way that the local mom and pop pizza chain can’t. And that trend has been playing out for a decade.
They can create and app and a Frictionless transaction
Millennials don’t want to call.
They want to open an app, place an order, and go back to watching Netflix.
And while that’s not impressive technology, it’s still a technological advantage.
And once those habits are created and ingrained, they become harder to break.
Domino's has been a monster stock since coming public
If you invested $1,000 in Domino’s when it went public on July 13, 2004, that investment would be worth more than $56,000 now.
That’s a lot of dough.
