A financial instrument is any contract in which one entity's financial assets and obligations increase at the same time, or these are many types of short- and long-term investments sold on the financial market. One of these tools is ADX or average directional movement index. The purpose of ADX is to determine the presence or absence of a trend. It doesn't take direction into account at all.

The most popular financial instruments

There are a very large number of financial instruments, and if you start listing all those that exist today, there will not be enough space: forwards, options, swaps, futures, etc. Therefore, in more detail only about some of them:

● Loans

The most well-known financial market instrument is loans. When their own money is insufficient, businesses take out loans to expand their operations, pay off supplier obligations, pay workers, and pay off tax liabilities, among other things.

● Share

A share is a security issued by a joint-stock company that has a certain value and certifies the investor's ownership of a portion of the company's authorized capital, based on the total value of the shares, as well as the right to collect dividends.

● Bond

A bond is a financial instrument issued by a company to help it improve its financial condition. In other words, when a corporation needs additional funds, it creates bonds and sells them to individuals and legal entities for a set length of time in exchange for the funds needed.

● Forward.

Forward - a sale and purchase arrangement for products or a financial instrument with delivery and settlement dates in the future. In terms of quantity and quality of commodities, the contract is standard. The seller is required by the contract to deliver a specific volume of commodities or financial instruments at a specific location and time, and the buyer is required to pay the price agreed at the time of contract settlement.

And many other financial instruments that you can always find on the Internet.
