Freedom Fighters Association– this association is one of the few associations that fight for the rights of immigrants who are at the risk of getting deported from the United States. Members of this association are immigrants who are facing immigration charges that are likely to lead to deportation or their relatives. The motive of this association is to make sure no immigrant is deported from the United States unjustly. There is no racial discrimination when it comes to immigrants who can join this association and joining the association is free of charge.

Immigrants’ Rights Defense Program – this is another immigrant association that fights on for the rights of immigrants at risk of deportation. The difference between this association and the Freedom for Families is that they fight against mass deportation of immigrants in the United States through means like advocacy, peaceful protests, public education, social awareness and publications through the media.

Immigrant Legal Assistance Group – this is an association that helps immigrants indirectly in the United States. The association’s motive is to fight for the rights of immigrants whose rights are infringed upon in the United States. The association is not open to only immigrants alone; both immigrants and citizens of United States can join the association. The association’s way of fighting for immigrants’ rights is by training immigration lawyers and activists that they can use as machinery to defend their immigrant members who need legal assistance.  

Refugee Assistance Program (RAP) - this association started as a program to help refugee immigrants about four decades ago, but it became an association because of the great success it achieved in assisting a lot of refugees in the United States. The motive of the association is to defend the rights of refugees by arranging lawyers who will fight for their rights by advocating their policy and rendering legal assistance to the refugees.

Immigrants’ Homosexual Rights Association – this association is a new association that fights for the rights of immigrants who are homosexual or bisexual. This associations’ motive is to make sure that LGBTQ immigrants who are in the United States are not cheated in any form. Membership of this association is free of charge and has no discrimination. Any immigrant can join this association regardless of the gender and race of such immigrant. The group tries as much as possible to balance its fight for gay, lesbian and bi rights.
