This could be the opportune moment to buy Cardano, especially with the months of correction coming to an end this week, and the coin officially in oversold, or undervalued territory.

As global cryptocurrency markets continue to brace for further doom and gloom, the Cardano ecosystem looks surprisingly abuzz, with 400 new projects, and over 100,000 wallets added only during the past month. According to its creators, there are a total of 900 projects currently in the works on the platform, and nearly 3.3 million wallets, with steady growth rates each month.

Cardano (ADA-X) is currently one of the few bright spots among the blue chip coins, and even though it has plummeted by nearly 90% since its peak in September last year, the coin has witnessed a breakout this week, a clear sign that it has found its bottom. Cardano continues to allure retail investors with its substantial real world applications, especially in gaming, metaverse, and gambling.

In this article, we take you through a few exciting, paradigm-altering metaverse projects currently underway on the platform.

1. Cornucopias

The first, and the most exciting on this list is Cornucopias, an entire virtual world built on the Cardano blockchain technology. This MMORPG game features a play-to-earn, host-to-earn, build-to-earn, and learn-to-earn style of play, allowing players to contribute to the community while earning money.

Cornucopias represents a novel attempt at what the future holds for the metaverse. Aiming for a vibrant community and marketplace, the game allows players to own NFTs of their creations, and even virtual land on the platform, which can be traded with others on its marketplace.

It was the recent announcement of this project that resulted in the rush to buy Cardano NZ last week, and sustained momentum with Cornucopias should help keep Cardano and its surrounding ecosystem buoyant over the coming months.

2. Cardalonia

Another Web 3.0 decentralized metaverse game based on the Cardano blockchain and Unreal Engine, Cardalonia allows users to buy land, breed clans, and create assets for trading and selling using the $LUNIA token, which had its token sale just a month ago.

Players can earn Lunia tokens by exploring and extracting resources, creating assets that can be sold as NFTs, as well as with staking, and governance. The alpha version of the game is expected to be available for early investors by the first quarter of 2023.

3. Pavia

A virtual world named after a town in Italy, Pavia raised funds by selling plots of land in its virtual universe, and has since sold 100,000 land parcels to over 17,000 land owners. The gigantic metaverse has an extensive geography, comprising land, oceans, forests, mountains, and more.

The land parcels in this metaverse is mapped as a Cardano non-fungible token (cNFT), allowing for easy trade and transfer. Each parcel comes with its own location and coordinates, which means those located near high-demand areas will likely generate more earnings.

4. Metashooter

A play-to-earn hunting game based, Metashooter allows players to buy hunting lands, breed NFT hunting dogs, build towers, and more, while also buying guns and other equipment in its marketplace. Players can also earn tokens by participating in hunting tournaments and winning trophies.

This open-world game built on Cardano and Unreal Engine addresses key concerns of P2E games, of boring gameplay, and poor quality visuals. The game promises plenty to do within its virtual worlds, aiming for a GTA 5-esque gameplay, and customizability.

5. Cardania

Cardania aims to build a fully-functional metaverse economy, with play-to-earn mechanics that is matched with an engaging, and immersive gameplay. The metaverse action takes place in the Sol System, a fictional world with unlimited energy, which transports inhabitants to new exotic locations.

The project held the public sale of its tokens over 3 months ago on Kick.io, and is expected to launch its alpha version in 2023. Similar to the others on this list, it features virtual real estate, trade of goods as NFTs, and staking among other things to generate a passive income.

Final Verdict

These are truly exciting times for crypto markets, web 3.0, and the metaverse, with plenty of new projects taking birth and coming to fruition every other week. Applications such as these are a wake-up call for those who still consider cryptocurrencies and NFTs to be ponzi schemes.

We can’t wait to see what the future holds for the metaverse, and with it being centered on Cardano, many experts predict a potential 1,000x gains for the coin through 2025

With Cardano increasing at the center of most such projects, this could be the opportune moment to buy Cardano, especially with the months of correction coming to an end this week, and the coin officially in oversold, or undervalued territory.
