How Nitin Khanna Creates Success for Himself And Others

When it comes to living a fulfilling life, many people believe it must involve helping others achieve their dreams. While there are numerous people who spend much of their time doing just this, perhaps none have taken a more interesting path along the way than Nitin Khanna. Trained as an industrial engineer, Khanna has not only gone on to amass a sizable fortune as a high-tech entrepreneur, but has also built a reputation as a person who is always willing to help those in need. 

From the early days of his childhood in India, Nitin Khanna realized it would take hard work, perseverance, and a commitment to doing his very best each and every day to achieve his dreams of success. Thus, after moving to the United States at age 17 to pursue his college education at Purdue University, he did just that. Upon receiving his Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Nitin had a decision to make. While he could have easily chosen to continue in academia by pursuing a PhD in Robotics, he instead chose to pursue his passion for owning his own business. 

Upon making this decision, Nitin Khanna and his brother Karan put their heads together and combined their skills and knowledge to form Saber Corporation, a high-tech company focused on developing software and computer systems. Like any business, it took some time for the business to take off. However, thanks to numerous issues that began to develop with voting machines in states across the nation, Saber Corporation was prepared to step in and meet the challenges this issue presented. As a result, Nitin and his brother worked to gain an initial contract for Saber Corporation with the State of Oregon. On this project, Saber Corporation would be given the task of developing new and innovative software for voting machines and other vital functions of government offices, such as driver's license registration, unemployment registrations, and much more.

Achieving success with these projects, Nitin Khanna and Saber Corporation suddenly found themselves well-known worldwide. Because of this, requests for various projects began pouring in, cementing the future success of Saber and Nitin. However, rather than choose to sit back and ponder his past success, Nitin Khanna decided to take his time and money and use it to help others as much as possible.

Determined to help the community that had done so much to help him achieve success, Nitin began by inquiring to many organizations in the Portland, OR area as to what types of assistance they needed most. After doing so, one of his first priorities was working with a business development group known as The Initiative. Exclusively committed to female entrepreneurs, it gave Nitin the chance to use his years of knowledge and experience to help others avoid many mistakes he made as a young entrepreneur. 

Along with his work involving future entrepreneurs, Nitin Khanna also chose to work closely with many groups in Portland to combat the growing problem of childhood hunger. Partnering with Our Giving Table, he gave substantial time and money to this organization, and also was always willing to speak to this or other groups that needed expert guidance in how to best grow their businesses or organizations. 

As he looks back today at his various success stories, Nitin Khanna realizes there is still much work to be done on many fronts. The father of four children, he realizes his role as a father and husband is important in many ways. Along with raising his children and supporting his family, he believes setting an example of kindness for his kids will pay huge dividends in the coming years.
