Personally, I hope this acquisition is the end of #Walmart. Shopping there is a dreadful experience and they don't deserve to stay in business. Yes, prices are cheap but there is zero customer service, horrible wait times, etc. #Amazon could radically change all that doing what they do best. $WMT $AMZN

I don't think it will be the end of #Walmart though unless Amazon starts selling actual products in the the physical stores like Walmart does. The downside is that these big stores like $WMT will go out of business unless they raise prices which help the consumer. It should help the dollar, but it will take time. When that does happen though, #Walmart will get more bang for their buck so it could even out. But it's a big change and there are likely a lot of unforeseen issues which could arise.

Companies know not to get on #Trump's bad side, but it will hopefully be the average American who benefits from this. And while yes, many companies were planning these expansions anyway, pressure from Trump can't hurt to ensure those jobs stay in the US. Plus a little good PR never hurt a company. $WMT $AMZN
