I don't live anywhere near a $WFM- who cares? Their prices, even slashed, are higher than what I pay. TIlapia? Farm raised? Totally toxic stuff from what I read...customers at WFM are mostly clueless gullible millenials with a herd mentality. Long $AMZN.
While I know #Walmart ($WMT) and #Amazon ($AMZN) treat its suppliers and employees poorly, I also know that means greater savings for me, so I'm okay with it. No one is forced to sell to, or work for, these companies. And no one is forced to shop there. I see no issues all around.
#Walmart is horrible to both its suppliers and its employees. But are #Amazon and other companies really that much better? With the exception of a standout like Wegmans, any company that wields that much clout is going to use it. $WMT$AMZN
I've written off retail stores convinced that they simply can't compete with the size, reach and initiative for innovative ideas that #Amazon has. But you've painted a good case as to why #RossStores are worth a closer look. $AMZN$ROST
I definitely agree, i think that $AMZN is just so much better at what they do that it is sort of insulting to compare them to Walmart. I always say that Amazon is sort of like $APPL in the sense that they may not be the first to do something, but they are always the ones to make it better, and this will definitely be the case.
Shopping at #Walmart is a miserable experience. #Amazon excels at customer service. If they increase efficency at #WholeFoods, they can likely do less with more, while still keeping customer service a priority. $WMT, $AMZN$WFM
#Walmart acquired #Jet to compete with #Amazon. Now Amazon wants to acquire #WholeFoods to compete with Walmart. I don't think Walmart's acquisition did a think for them. Hopefully Amazon's will work out better for them $WMT$AMZN$WFM

Blue Apron ($APRN) Post-IPO Buy The Dip Or Run Far Far Away?
I suspect #Amazon's acquisition of #WholeFoods will be serious competition for #BlueApron. $AMZN $WFM $APRN
