That is how the process works. prices keep getting bid up until all at once there are no folks willing to buy at that price, at which point, with no more buyers, selling stops. I figured that out on my own a while back. To sell anything, you must have buyers willing and able to pay the price. That is why not everybody gets rich quick, buying low and selling high.
Any punk that has to resort to profanity in a public announcement is to be ignored because they are not smart enough to find more suitable words. And so random blabbing is just so much noise.
Evidently that party has shares that they really want to unload and certainly such announcements will bring buyers to the fore..
It may be that "the thrill is gone" for a while. This entire sector i a business that was illegal not that long ago and so of course there would be a rush for a while. But thrills do get old and interest wanes and other things look more exciting.
So hold on to those stocks because eventually they will turn around.
Of course dividends are nice, and a handy way to make a living. But my observation is that dividends are usually a small percentage of share price, which tells me that one need to own a whole lot of shares to get that "four figure income" every month. Certainly iif I had a million to invest I could get shares that paid collectively a lot of money. But certainly if I had that much to invest it would be because I already had a good income.
And what we can see here is that Bigger is not always better. Especially when it comes to failing. Did somebody once say,"The bigger they are, the harder they fall"?
Certainly an interesting approach, plotting new highs and new lows. It takes a bit of thinking to understand what they mean.
There is a flaw i looking at averages, which is that the giants and the small ones average is affected much more by one giant doing well than by 50 small ones NOT doing so very well.So the sunshine might be misleading.
The market and need thinking seems strange to me. I seem to associate the term psychedelic with LSD and such types of substances. So evidently there is a new definition of "psychedelic " now. The descriptions of the problems brings to mind that Rolling Stones song about "Mothers Little Helper".
Of course, I define a High Stress situation as "coming under heavy automatic weapons fire, Quite different from some folks thinking.
And so I suppose that the ambient stress level in many areas is hard on some folks.
Interesting and with conclusions as well. Is there any consideration that this may be a deliberate action by either an institution or an individual to intentionally disrupt commerce? And with the revelation that the ship is already starting to sag in the middle that nasty suspicion grows stronger. Some problems ARE attributable to malice rather than stupidity. Has the political agenda of those responsible for steering the ship been examined? Perhaps they should be examined.
