If some specifics would mask the actual average then it makes a lot moore sense to tell the specifics and forget the average, because none are the averge.
It seems that the message is that some are down a fair bit while some others are not. At least that is my take on the report! So what is the value of partial information without at least a bit of explanation as to why?
The auto companies want it for a thou$and. But the show-stopper is the time to do the code verification: about an hour per line of source code. Thatis far beyond anything that will allow release in a timely manner.
AND the whole concept of periodic updates is simply not acceptable, since each update will be the equivalent of a major safety recall. Just think about THAT!!!
Certainly M Cummins is corrrect about computer driven cars. And everybody needs to understand that they ARE COMPUTER DRIVEN cars. They will be subject to the same failures as desktop computers if they follow the present game plan, which is to have wireless downloads to fix bugs that are discovered after the cats are sold. I would not want to own or ride in such a car even if it were free!
The big problem is the cost of verifying the software. It takes at least an hour per line to adequately verify computer software adequately. And it takes at least three people to do it. So the cost is about$200per hour, and if the programs have several million lines of code it will take several million hours to verify. So there is the problem that will prevent good code from being released.
How about, instead of some slight reduction in purchaes, a "cold Turkey" Halt of the purchases, along with a friendly note to congress that they need to look elsewhere for funds, OR cut back spending. Certainly it would make waves, but tht is OK.
That misery is going to be especially miserable for all of those slowly developing areas that lack enough of ANY kind of energy, green or not. And they can "thank" the green people for working so very hard to assure that the only energy available is that "green" energy, which is much more expensive. Thosesame green people are the ones responsible for the shortage of most energy, which is perceived as "less green".
So the misery index will need to have higher levels available on their graphs, because "We Ain't seen nothing yet", to quote an old phrase. What good is clean energy to those who can not pay for it????
So that nobody forgets the reality: China IS A POLICE STATE! As such the government does not have to either explain it's actions or even be accountable for them and thier impact. So the government undoubtedly has an agenda that we can only guess, and probably guess wrong.
Please do not take this as a criticism, but rather as a reminder that they do not have toplay by the same rules as the US or the common market countries.
I DO SEE some serious inflation, coupled with stagnation in a few areas. It looks like bad times approaching.
And while Evergrande is falling, the enormity of the impact is not obvious to a lot of those who do not yet understand what is happening. The very best outcome will be if what I anticipate does not happen. Sometimes having been wrong is what I hope for.
I am rather skepticl about anay "analysis" method that does not appear to consider the actions and value of the business being evaluated. Consider how much of the instant share price is dependent on the emotions of folks not part of it.
