Is there any part of this article that you agree with? I think a trade war would benefit America highly. Countries like China give the US a raw deal and trade is too imbalanced. It needs correction.
I can't say I have high thoughts about bankers in general, but that is a bit harsh. Most 'bankers' don't break the law, they just grab an opportunity where they see it. It is the laws on how the money tool (it is a tool for trading) should work that is
to blame. So if the finger should be pointed at anyone, it's the politicians.
This is a truly interesting concept. I'm almost convinced... almost. But what about the theory that when people don't have jobs they often turn to crime and hooliganism, not out of financial need, but boredom?
I think the author has a point. There's a reason there are more crimes and riots in cities with high unemployment. When you have nothing better to do, these become interesting ways to pass the time. Plus there's a lot of misplaced anger at their current
situation, etc. It needs an outlet.
What's crazy is that while the government was in shut down and government employees were forced to go without getting paid, Congress wasn't effected - their salaries remained intact! I suspect if this were not the case, the shutdown would have ended far
sooner.
