Hi, folks! Will Putin survive or not - doesn't matter. What is important is that Ukraine was ruled by crooks and thieves but now it has bloodthirsty mindless fascists and scumbags in power. It is not sustainable and will decay despite of all Western aid.
Just think of the simple fact: Ukraine refused to make Russian as a second state language while >40% of population uses it at home. The very first thing the new pro-Western junta did when it came to power was to abolish the law, which allowed regions using additional state languages locally. This was perceived as slap in a face by all South-Eastern regions who fought for this law long time and sparkled big unrest resulting in civil war eventually. At the same time, the Donetsk People Republic (DPR) has declared Russian AND Ukrainian as a state language while only ~7% people in DPR speak Ukrainian at home.
Donetsk is being shelled daily; lots of civilian casualties; Ukrainian army demolished many private properties in and around Donetsk; junta stopped paying pensions and blocked any social and economical ties with DPR etc but in spite of all that rights of ethnic Ukrainians are respected in DPR and neglected by Ukrainian government.
