This seems like a rather bigoted post. I don't know much about Daskalakis, but I do know we shouldn't judge a book by it's cover. So he has some wild tattoos. The question is, is he good at his job? I don't know. If not, then the criticism is fair. But you never made any mention of his capabilities, just his looks. But he can look equally professional as well, and does in his official capacity:

Very interesting. But in the last sentence of your first paragraph, you wrote that in 2006: "With the invitation to South America to join their alliance, they became known as the BRICS nations."   But don't you mean South Africa? I believe they were the original "S".

Why would any country endorse a currency they have no power over? It enables criminals and even regular people to hide financial malfeasance, escape paying taxes, skirt laws, etc.  And it emboldens ransom hackers by making it impossible to track them down.

I've always opposed #Bitcoin and other #cryptos on moral grounds.  It literally powers the drug, sex trafficking, pedophile and other illegal markets.  Criminals are literally given a free hands to do what they want and no one can track their crimes with no paper trail.

In 6 months, crypto lost about a trillion in money.
