I am a political scientist by training, having received a B.A. and M.A. in one of the least marketable college majors known to humanity. After struggling to find a full time position in the post-2008 world of higher education, I turned to the world of trading.

The Secret To Fun And Easy Stock Market Riches
When people say "don't fight the Fed", I totally get it and agree completely. But at the same time, I always cringe when I hear someone on TV (or social media) say things like "just close your eyes and buy" or "buy with both fists." Overthinking may be counterproductive, but the opposite can be just as bad.
Tesla Stock Suddenly Plunges As Much As $100 In Seconds
Not at all surprising seeing how many millennials rushed to Robin Hood to buy their first shares ever of Tesla. A lot of longs and shorts both will probably get punished severely by TSLA.
"Made In China" Economic Hit Coming Right Up
I was initially of the opinion that the Coronavirus scare would be just like all of the other pandemic scares of the last 40 years or so. And that we would look back a year from now and barely remember hearing about the Coronavirus. But now it looks like this could be months away from containment, possibly even toward late Spring/early Summer. This could definitely smack the global economy around over the next few months.
Debt Jubilee Would Set Us Back To Sumer
No. I'm not sure what I wrote that would imply I was OK with bailing out banks. I was opposed to that 100%.
Debt Jubilee Would Set Us Back To Sumer
I would benefit massively if Sanders or Warren won the election this year and started wiping out student loan debt. Yet I still can't support that kind of moral hazard being set in motion. Market Talk - Thursday, February 8
The fact that people are reacting to this correction with “the decline just feels orderly” makes me wonder if there is still too much complacency, and that we may be nowehere near enough fear for a bottom to form.
Stocks And Precious Metals Charts - The Tendency Is To Push It As Far As You Can
I'm no dollar bull, but it still seems like it may have some gas left in the tank (and still pretty oversold). 92's in DXY could come and test the trendline. Once rates and dollars don't hang over gold's head, it will probably be a great buy. I'm on the sidelines til then.
Futures Sliding After-Hours As Volatility Resumes Rise
Seems like this has been happening like clockwork...at the same time each day in AH trading. There may still be some shenanigans left with these volatility instruments.
What Happened To The Iphone?
Here's the release from Apple back in December that mentions the software update in early 2018 : www.apple.com/iphone-battery-and-performance/
What Happened To The Iphone?
I may look into alternatives like Android when I'm ready for a new phone (hopefully at least a couple of years from now).
