I disagree. I think that if someone has symptoms, just assume you have it and stay home. Does it even matter if it is Covid or something else?  Why get other people sick?

Instead, they should save the tests for people who know they have been exposed, but have no symptoms - those are the most dangerous as they will continue to walk around and infect countless others, without even knowing it!

Thanks for writing this, but I don't see how it answers my question from your previous article.  Once again: If Omicron is much more contagious (I've read 10X as contagious!, but not as deadly, won't it still kill more people?  If it infects 10 times as many people, even if it's half or 1/4 as deadly, more people would still die simply because so many more people are infected, no?

In fact I just read on the homepage of CNN that two new studies confirms that Omicron is much milder - one report said it is 66.67% less likely to lead to hospitalization than Delta, and the other report said 80% less likely.  Very encouraging!  But it also goes onto say that it is so much more contagious, that it is still likely to overwhelm hospitals.  That's a big problem.  And the more people who get it, the more people there are to spread it.

Defeating Hamas Takes More Than Bombs

It is not absurd at all, but rather is a long known fact that similar to textbooks out of Nazi Germany that tried to dehumanize Jews and portray them in negative, stereotypical ways, PA text books do the same. They all do not even acknowledge Israel exists - all maps of the Middle East in their textbooks do not include Israel, but rather have Palestine in its place The murder of Jews are praised and the history is often rewritten to make Jews appear as the aggressors. Please review this thorough list of links that give a detailed account of all this. Quite frankly, I'm surprised you were not aware.

Defeating Hamas Takes More Than Bombs

You say Israel should choose the lesser of two evils. But the PA uses text books out of Nazi Germany to teach their children to hate Jews from the earliest ages (and paid for by US tax payers). They give money every month the families of suicide bombers. They name building and roads after them too - they glorify and encourage the killing of innocents. And as you said, they are corrupt. They've also never shown a real interest in peace. Wouldn't it be better to seek out actual moderates and empower them instead?

A Golden Bridge For Gaza

"Put another way, Gazan Palestinians could be more like Arab Israeli..." you mean the very people who are rioting all across Israel, burning down synagogues, lynching Jews, dragging people from their cars and beating them, throwing molotov cocktails and firebombs at homes? Sound like you are damned if you do, damned if you don't. All you'd do is bring in more people that hate you and want you dead.

Sure, some my volunteer to help clean up after, but when the leader of the the most moderate of Israeli Arab parties - Ra'am, tried to show his solidarity by visiting the mayor of Lod and a razed synagogue, his own party told him to resign. Seems like the moderates are in the minority.

Peace is nice. But how do you have peace with Hamas when they are sworn to the destruction of Israel? Doesn't seem possible to me.

Things You Can't See From There

I agree that with Abbas' Arab Ra'am party about to join the government, it was truly an historic moment for Israel and Jewish/Arab coexistence withing the country. Don't you think that it's possible, that all this - the rocket attacks and the riots - were manipulated to prevent this from happening? It likely would have greatly improved Arab communities standard of living and led to a more normalization of internal relations.

The question is, who is pulling the strings? Iran controls Hamas. But who is instigating the rioters? I saw the pictures of piles and piles of rocks being stored at mosques right before the riots - all this was planned.
