Charlie heads North American Investment Strategy at Citi Private Bank which includes the US and Canada. He is sought after for economic and investment insights across asset classes, sectors and themes. Charlie serves on the Global Investment Committee which sets global tactical asset allocation advise for the firm and publishes frequently. He is based in New York.
Prior to joining Citi Private Bank, Charlie was the Chief Portfolio Strategist for New York Life's MainStay Investments where he led the firm's investment thought leadership efforts. Previously, Charlie served as the Deputy Chief Investment Officer for Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, focusing on global investment opportunities and asset allocation.
Charlie previously headed Portfolio Strategy and was the Associate Director of Research at Neuberger Berman after being the Senior US Equity Strategist at Lehman Brothers.
Charlie has appeared on CNBC, other news broadcasts and in print media. He earned an MBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business and a BS from Carnegie Mellon University.
