Iceland had also ventured into eliminating fiat currency with the invention of Auroracoin. An international currency was talked about years ago by Keynes, demonstrating tremendous foresight. It seems almost a foregone conclusion that fiat will meet its demise. Will it be the Libertad or a cryptocurrency that proves to be the new standard? Time will tell. I personally can't wait to see what happens next.

Enjoyed the article Leigh. Quick question for you, if Wong is interested in incorporating use of a cryptocurrency, why does he not use Reddcoin? Also quick to be traded back and forth; and it is already established with a huge community backing. It was developed as a social currency so seems like a logical fit to me.

Starting a business is definitely a great idea! The problem with doing so at the age of 60 without being financially solvent is that it takes a great deal of capital in order to do so.

I do agree with your notion of teaming up with younger individuals. Starting a business is a lot of stress and hard work, which will put a greater strain on someone aged 60 and above.

Also corporations such as Wal-Mart have gained notoriety for their destruction of small businesses.

Great article Ben. I think that Bitcoin will recover, and speculation will run rampant again when the bounce occurs. However, I do feel that Bitcoin's first mover advantage will only keep it ahead of other altcoins for so long. In the end, technology and innovation will prevail.
