True. In fact Anthony Fauci just said today on SiriusXM radio:
"People ask about, 'Are we concerned about a second wave?' And I keep telling people, 'What are you talking about a second wave? We are actually knee-deep in the first wave.' We've never really gotten out of it."
You certainly make a compelling argument. I am now out of work, can't pay my rent and my landlord isn't cutting me any breaks. But I think I'd still rather be in that situation then open everything up and risk dying. I realize not everyone has some savings but the government is helping.
What percentage of the American population is actually employed, but are paid in cash, under the table and don't pay taxes. They aren't eligible for any of that money.
