You continue to always conflate all deaths. You need to differentiate between avoidable and non-avoidable deaths. You can't avoid cancer. You can avoid dying in a drunk driving accident by not being drunk and by wearing a seat belt. COVID-19 is completely avoidable.

And in this case, the author is talking about kids! Children who are just starting out in this world, not finishing them. And from a purely logical perspective - They have yet to show their potential. Who knows what great achievements of the future will be lost should they die.

And that was back in April during the Passover holiday. They have had nothing since. And there are likely some countries that are doing nothing to help at all. These are dark times for the entire world.
