On the contrary, it's the other way around - he's said it to quite a few of his followers. I've been the brunt of that more times than not. I suspect he'll react to your kind comment in the same way. I can't decide if people are overreacting to this new variant or not. On the one hand, millions have already died from Covid. On the other hand, with every new variant, the media makes it sound like the world is about to end. What people forget is that as the variants get worse, the world gets better at fighting Covid. Both with tactics, new medicinal therapies, and of course the vaccines.
