There Is Nothing Progressive About A Democrat

Date: Thursday, August 18, 2022 12:24 AM EDT

  By Timothy D. Naegele[1]

As I wrote years ago, there is nothing "progressive" about a Democrat. It is a term they have used, abused and co-opted in an attempt to mask, obscure and hide their true identities, evil intentions and deeds. When I left the U.S. Senate, I went a step farther to conclude that the Democrats are "evil" but smart, while the Republicans are "Neanderthals" and dumb. I have never changed that opinion, and have been an Independent ever since.[2]

I began as a Democrat, but can't conceive of ever voting for one again. They have moved so far to the Left as to be almost totally unrecognizable. They are un-American fascists, unbridled anarchists, unapologetic racists, blatant anti-Semites and everything else that is evil. Stated bluntly and succinctly, they are the party that Barack Obama created, and they are a mirror image of him. Any doubts, read his book, "Dreams from My Father."[3]

Their mission has been to destroy the opposition, which is the goal of every fascist, authoritarian regime. Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin and Mao Tse-tung were masters at it, and killed millions of human beings in the process.[4] The Democrats came after Richard Nixon, and used Sam Giancana and the Chicago mob to fix the elections in Chicago and West Virginia.

When Nixon won the presidency years later, they used Watergate to destroy him. Then, they targeted Ronald Reagan with "Iran Contra," even though Reagan had survived an assassination attempt, and had brought down the "Evil Empire" of the Soviet Union without a shot being fired.[5]

Next, their target was Donald Trump, who was a flamboyant businessman and had the audacity to challenge them and the so-called Washington "elite" or "establishment," and their imbedded bureaucracy at all levels of government that had been carefully nurtured over the decades. Their efforts to destroy him have been brutal and relentless, beginning the day that he and his wife Melania came down the escalator at Trump Tower in New York City and announced his candidacy.

After rigging elections across the country and installing the mentally-challenged Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in the presidency—who have been destroying America and putting it at the mercy of our enemies, principally China and Russia—they are hell-bent in stopping Trump from ever challenging them again. The raid on his home at Mar-a-Lago in Florida by rogue, Gestapo-like FBI agents is their latest attempt to destroy him.

Undoubtedly authorized by Biden and his Obama-laden advisors, it was carried out by the Attorney General Merrick Garland, whose quest for a seat on our Supreme Court had been denied. FBI Director Christopher Wray approved the raid, as did a Florida Magistrate Bruce Reinhart who had helped Jeffrey Epstein's abusers when he was in the private practice of law.

If the Democrats could "kill" Trump, they would. He is hated; and his very presence constitutes a threat to their control of the United States and the American people. Leave aside the fact that our enemies want to destroy us, the Democrats are hell-bent on destroying him and everything he and his supporters stand for. Like Reagan before him, he is the polar opposite of them, which is why he is hated like Abraham Lincoln was[6]. Are there reasonable rank-and-file Democrats who are appalled by what is happening?  Sure there are, but they do not control the party—or perhaps even influence it today.

You are blatanlty biased in you writings. you don't even attempt to appear even handed. Is it so inconceivable that Trump did something wrong?

Timothy Naegele 1 year ago Author's comment

Thank you for your comments.

As I have stated, I began as a Democrat; and I view those who have hijacked the party as traitors.  It is just that simple.

Angry Old Lady 1 year ago Member's comment

And what about the GOP? Hasn't the MAGA contingent hijacked the party?  The most respected leaders where the Bushs, the Cheneys, Romney, Powell, and McCain. All of a sudden they are RHINOs??  Why? Only becuase they would not bow down to king Trump. It's sad if you can't see that.  At least have the courage to admit that's the truth.

Timothy Naegele 1 year ago Author's comment

Thank you again for your comments.

The Bushes, the Cheneys, Romney, Powell and McCain were jestissoned from the new Trump-dominated GOP, and rightly so.

George W. Bush and Dick Cheney, acting on behalf of the Neocons and their state sponsor, thrust us into the tragic Iraq War in which more than 5,000 Americans died and many more were maimed, and trillions of dollars were wasted... for nothing.  Never Again!

Powell was promoted beyond his capabilties; Romney is a carpetbagging RINO; and McCain was a traitor.

The MAGA Trump GOP flourishes, with the crushing of Liz Cheney in Wyoming being wonderful... and much more to come.  🙂

Angry Old Lady 1 year ago Member's comment

So you didn't vote for Bush/Cheney, Romney, or McCain when they rain for president?  Odly, I didn't take for an Obama voter.

Timothy Naegele 1 year ago Author's comment

Good question.  I apologize for the delay in responding.

Yes, I voted for them, because the other choices were worse.

Kurt Benson 1 year ago Member's comment

How was McCain a traitor? He was a patriot, a war vet and dedicated his entire life to serving America.  I proudly voted for him when he ran for president and the country would have been better off had he won.

Dick Kaplan 1 year ago Member's comment

"Rigging elections?" Did you not watch the Jan 6th hearings, or follow the court cases?  Trump's own lawyers admitted in court that there was no fraud.  I realize you were unhappy about the results of the election, as was I. But when you start throwing baseless claims that have already been disproven, you only serve to embarrass yourself.

Timothy Naegele 1 year ago Author's comment

With all due respect, nonsense, Dick.  The so-called "January 6 Committee" is akin to the Salem witch trials, and is essentially a star chamber proceeding.

Liz Cheney has been destoyed politically; and when November's elections occur, others may get their comeuppances too.  The more than go down, the more Americans will cheer, as I assume you know.

Dick Kaplan 1 year ago Member's comment

What evidence do you have that he 2020 elections were "rigged." And if there was evidence, why wasn't it shown to the court? There was none.  And when asked, why did Trump's lawyers admit there was no fraud. Read the court transcripts, they are in the public domain.

Timothy Naegele 1 year ago Author's comment

Dick, there are lots of ways to rig an election; and since JFK, the Kennedys, the Democrats and Sam Giancana stole the 1960 election from Richard Nixon, the Democrats have perfected it to a fine art, just as they are attempting to do with this November's elections and the raid on Mar-a-Lago.

Aside from voting machines and "dead voters," the "mainstream media" has been a willing accomplice and co-conspirator.  Buried has been Hunter's laptop and the "Big Guy's criminality," etc.  Surely, if that had exploded before the last election, the results might have been vastly different.

Again, I began as a Democrat, and have been appalled by their actions since I left the Senate.  The party should be abandoned in record numbers; and its candidates should face the music like Liz Cheney.

Derek Snyder 1 year ago Member's comment

FBI Director Wray was appointed by Trump and Trump personally vouched for him saying he wsa a man of "impeccable credentials." So either Trump is not qualified to make such appointments, or Wray actually is doing his job in investigating allegations.

Which is more likely, that the entire FBI.  DOJ, and Attorney General are all corrupt, at every level?  Or that perhaps, Trump, who was notoriously recklass with classified intel (his aides testified that used to have peole follow Trump arround with boxes to collect the classifed docs he would carelessly leave lying around), screwed up and took docs he wasn't supposed to.

Timothy Naegele 1 year ago Author's comment

Thank you, Derek, for your comments.

Having worked in Washington for 21 years nonstop, at the Pentagon and on Capitol Hill, far too often people are appointed to positions by "mistake."  Trump was a newcomer; and can be forgiven for having appointed Wray.

And yes, the FBI has been corrupt since the days of J. Edgar Hoover; and its last four Directors should be incarcerated at Guantanamo Bay today, for their many crimes.  And yes too, the DOJ has been and is corrupt.

See, e.g., https://naegeleblog.wordpress.com/2018/06/15/the-department-of-injustices-inspector-general-is-complicit-in-the-deep-state-cover-up/ ("The Department Of Injustice’s Inspector General Is Complicit In The Deep-State Cover-Up!")

Derek Snyder 1 year ago Member's comment

But it seems that your arguments on the assumption that Trump can do no wrong?  Allegations were made, why jump to conclusions? Let the investigation play out. If Trump is actually innocent, he has nothing to fear - this will only boost his chances.  But if he is guilty, shouldn't he face the repurcussions? Or do we give Trump a pass simply because he is Trump?

There is no harm in allowing an investigation. The results will be known long before the 2024 election. It's not like 2016 where they opened a case against Hillary 11 days before the vote, ruining her chances.

Why was it right to investigate Hillary, but not Trump for the same crimes? That's just hypocritical.

Timothy Naegele 1 year ago Author's comment

Thank you again, Derek.

Hillary Clinton has never "faced the music" for her many crimes; and the attacks on Donald Trump are a partisan witch hunt and nothing more.  End of story.

The Squad are anti-semites, true, but as a Jew, I have to point out that you are ignoring the growing anti-semtism on the right.  From rallys of Trump supporters where they chant "Jews will not replace us," to actual GOP politicians saying crazy things like it is the Jews who are starting all the forest fires with our secret Jewish space lasers. You do a disservice by ignoring this and I hope you will condemn it.

It is downright terrifying. Far more than the progressive left which was always ignored and sidelined by the rest of the Democrats, who luckily are still pro-Israel.  And Biden has been a surpsingly staunch ally and supporter of Israel.

I don't deny that no president has ever been as supportive of Israel as Trump was.  But he was also quick to throw away that relationship and curse out Bibi, for merely doing his duty as the leader of Israel, by calling Biden to congratulate him on his fair and legal win.

Trump In 2024 1 year ago Member's comment

How do you know the Jews don't have some sort of laser system in space? Israel is very technologically advanced and used it to strengthen their colonial ambitions of taking over the Middle East, and eventually the world. I wouldn't be surprised if they were causing a bit of trouble, for some sort of long-game agenda.  Biden blames it on "Climate Change," but that's a hoax.

Timothy Naegele 1 year ago Author's comment

Thank you for your comments, Ayelet.  As you know, anti-Semitism has never gone away, and has been rising globally for many years.  Is it wrong?  Of course it is, but thugs like Netanyahu have fanned it.

Years ago he morphed into his ancestors' Nazi oppressors; and he should be tried by the International Criminal Court, in a Nuremberg-like setting, and arrested whenever he sets foot out of Israel.

He was hated by Ariel Sharon and the Rabins, as I assume you know; and I have condemned him for many years.  As I have written:

"[Netanyahu] was hated by former Israeli Prime Ministers Ariel Sharon and Yitzhak Rabin—and especially by Rabin’s wife Leah, who blamed Netanyahu for her husband’s assassination.  She saw 'only doom for the Israeli-Palestinian peace process' with Netanyahu at Israel’s helm; and her views were prescient."

See, e.g., https://naegeleblog.wordpress.com/2012/03/08/the-madness-of-benjamin-netanyahu/ ("The Madness Of Benjamin Netanyahu")

He does not care about the effects of his words and actions on innocent Jews globally, who cannot and will not be protected by the IDF or Mossad.  If he assumes power again, may Heaven help them.

Lastly, the IDF and despicable settlers killed Omar Assad and other innocents, yet they go unpunished.  No wonder BDS is lauded.  And yes too, the Iron Dome is "porous," and Israel might be subject to a nation-ending EMP Attack or nuclear attack from its enemies other than Iran.  Several nations have nuclear weapons, as I assume you know.

Trump In 2024 1 year ago Member's comment

Hitler was misunderstood, he's not such a bad guy. I mean yeah he killed some people, but so did Stalin, and a bunch of other leaders. And Jews were far from innocent. They were the cause of all of Germany's woes. Hitler first wanted them to simply leave, but no other country wanted them either (can you blame them)?

Trump gets that too. Sure he'll use the Jews for their riches to fill his war chest. But when the time is right, he'll make it clear where they stand in the hierarchy of things. Trump recognizes that America needs more of the good aspects that Nazi Germany had.  American needs to have more of the good aspect that Hitler showed. Hitler took a depressed, broken country, similar to how we are today, and he made Germany great again.  He united the country towards a common goal. gave them pride, made them the envy of the world and built an empire that could have lastest a thousand years, had he not taken on America.
No Jews would have died if other countries had taken them in. That was his initial plan.

Trump understands that we need to be more like them.  He even cursed out our own generals and told them they need to be more like the Nazi Generals from WW2.  Those guys had balls. Ours are always afraid of optics and bad PR. They are afraid to do what needs to be doing.  They should have marched on the Capital on January 6th and if they did, Trump would still be our president.

Ayelet Wolf 1 year ago Member's comment

I'd say killing 11 million people, 6 million of them Jews, is a lot more than "he killed some people." Not surprised. It's clear you are part of the new MAGA party.  This is the best Trump's supporters have to offer?

Trump In 2024 1 year ago Member's comment

Oh please, he didn't kill anywhere near that many people. How could one person kill millions? That's just a lie spread by the Jews to get sympathy and so they can have an excuse to get away with whatever they want.

And as for me, yes I am a white male that support Trump and am proud of it. You are a woman so I don't expect you to have the brain capacity to understand why that makes me better.  But God put us on this planet and made all else subservient to us.  Don't like it? To bad.

You see, and most people think the same way I do. Just before Trump we were afraid to say it outloud because we'd be cancelling. Society, controlled by dems, and big tech, they are not open to alterantive ideas, no matter how true.  They don't like hearing how they are inferior. So they silence those who admit the truth. But Trump showed us we don't have to be afraid.  That there ae far more of us than any of us realized, and together we are strong and can resahpe America.

And we will make sure Trump takes the White House again, this time for good. And if the FBI tries to stop him, they better watch out.  Back in 2020, he told us from the debate stage to stand by and be ready.. And we are.

Ayelet Wolf 1 year ago Member's comment

Oh my, Where to start? How you equated Bibi with Hitler is beyond  me - it is beyond offensive.  Hiter carried out the systematic murder of 6,000,000 innocent Jews.  Literal genocide.  All Bibi has done is try to protect Israel which is under constant attack by terrorists, targetting civilians. Is he perfect? No. Is he guilty of any crimes or corruptions like many politicians? Quite possibly. He's most often been compared to Trump actually.

Also, your characterization of Omar Assad is completely off base.  He was arrested during an anti-terrorist opp when he refused to provide his identification and became combative with the arresting soldiers.  He was not beaten or injured in any way. And all those arrested were released within only 30 minutes!  But, he had a congenital heart defect and died of a heart attack! Before you claim this was not true, these were the findings of the autopsy conducted by the Palestinians.  Even though there was no way the Israeli soldiers could have known this, and even though they did not commit any violence against him, they were still punished by the IDF.  How does that compare to suicide bombers blowing up innocent women and children and other terrorist attacks which is what these soldiers were trying to stop.  Ironically, I've never seen you condmend the American police when they stop an African American who ends up shot dead, which is far worse. Did George Floyd deserve to die for passing a $20 counterfeit bill?  That's not nearly as bad as being a terrorist. So more hypocrisy.

Lastly, you failed to acknowledge my question.  Do you condemn the likes of Marjorie Taylor Green and her anti-semitism? Or only when it comes from the left?

Timothy Naegele 1 year ago Author's comment

With all due respect, Ayelet, the issue is anti-Semitism, which has been rising in America and on a global basis for decades now.  You and I are not responsible for it, but innocent Jews outside of Israel are being affected and, yes, hurt each and every day.

And yes too, Bibi is a criminal and should be tried as such.  The sooner he is in prison for the rest of his life, at the very least, the better.  It will send a signal that there is some justice in Israel.

And yes as well, we can debate these issues ad infinitum, but the fact is that Jews are the most hated people in the world, and Israel is the most hated state in the world.  And Narcisstic political hacks like Bibi do not care.  Ariel Sharon and the Rabins knew this in spades, which is why they condemned and hated him.

Ayelet Wolf 1 year ago Member's comment

How is Bibi a criminal deseving of prison for the rest of his life? He's been accused of typical political behavior - trading favors and such. Nothing to that degree.  And by the way Ariel Sharon was pretty hated as well. I'm not clear why you like him but not Bibi.

But my bigger concern is that leaders in the GOP can make these ridiculous statements about Jews and everyone else is silent. Where is the condemnation? Even you won't say that is wrong.  That would never have been the case 5 or 6 years ago.  She would have been booted from the party.

Timothy Naegele 1 year ago Author's comment

Thank you again, Ayelet, for your comments.

I believe Netanyahu should be terminated, like the Nazis were, not imprisoned.

Also, I made my views about Sharon clear years ago, and will not repeat them here.

See, e.g., https://naegeleblog.wordpress.com/2014/01/06/ariel-sharon-is-missed/ ("Ariel Sharon Is Missed")

Lastly, anti-Semitism is a global issue, and growing... tragically.  The likes of Netanyahu and the despicable settlers' actions fan it.  Needless to say, neither of us has any control over its trajectory.

Trump In 2024 1 year ago Member's comment

Don't listen to them all Timmy. You are my man!  Trump is the greatest thing since Jesus.  He will win in 2024, like he did in 2020 and 2016.  Then he'll dismantle the FBI and DOJ and outlaw the Democratic party to make sure no one can stop him from doing what needs to be done to make American great again.  And we'll get rid of the outdated term limits to make sure he'll stay our president well into his hundreds.

When he's too old to continue, he'll appoint one of his children, or his hand picked VP (I recommend DeSantis - the traitor Pence will be hanging from the Capital Building, so no need to consider him) to continue his God given work.

And you are right about the Dems. They are satan's spawn. They worship him and serve him with their pedophilia. Hitler should have made room in the ovens for the Dems along with the blacks and the Jews. Then we could have been rid of them all.

MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! TRUMP IN 2024!
