@[Leah Wald](user:26216), have you read "Originals: How Non-Conformists Move The World" by Adam Grant? I think you should.

He describes how the world's most original thinkers expose themselves to diverse skills and environments. For example, scientists are 22 times more likely to win a Nobel Prize over their typical peers if they had a hobby in an unrelated field such as dance, acting or magic.

Having a diverse resume can be an asset, even if typical recruiters don't recognize it.

This is a real eye opener for those of us with an entrepreneurial spirit!

While I agree with everything the author said, I don't think it's as simple as saying America has to do what's necessary. How can you possibly stomp out Islam without wiping out the innocent muslims along with them? And even then... look how long it took to find Bin Laden. And look how hard it's been to find those who took his place on our most wanted lists. I don't think it's possible to wipe them out. Rather we need to educate and communicate.

Apple's response was an exceptionally well written response. At first I was outraged to hear Apple would not assist the FBI in pursuit of terrorists. But now I see have a clear understanding of the situation and support Apple fully.
