I believe technology will be #Trump's downfall. In the old days, people could get away with making ridiculous comments, and their PR firms or press secretary's could intervene before they took a life of their own. But information disseminates instantly and globably these days. Tools like #Twitter ($TWTR), which Trump seems to adore, give him the ability to let all of America know his true, inappropriate thoughts before his team can tweak them.
I agree with Gary in that I rarely use self checkout. But the reason is that when I do, something always inevitably goes wrong and I need to wait for someone to come and override. Not to mention, there are often lines at my local self checkout as well. The customers take longer to do it then the trained cashiers.
@[Joe Johnson](user:35978), while to a large extent you are correct about the "Broken Window Fallacy," that doesn't take into consideration those who save money rather than pump it back into the economy. As an extension, that's the reason why I think #Trump will fail with his policies is because when companies get tax breaks, they horde the money, they don't give it to their employees.
I received the #Sprint offer in the mail and was impressed. I usually toss these promotions to trash where they belong, but am considering a switch myself. But it would only be temporary since, as you mentioned, the offer is only for 1 year. To get free phones, do you still need to sign a 2-year contract? I haven't switched providers in ages. $S
