I fault #Saylor because a not-regulated asset will/should freely float in price, dependent only on supply and demand The need to liquidate by large holders ("I needed to raise cash to buy an enterprise", "my divorce settlement required I sell it") - for whatever reason a large holder IN #Bitcoin needs to sell, the price - being freely-floating and not monitored/supported by ANY regulator - should reflect a liquidation. It's nearly 100% clear Saylor set himself up to buy a regulated/monitored asset and $BTC/$BITCOMP has never, ever been that. Never, never, never ever. And should never be.
I've always opposed #Bitcoin and other #cryptos on moral grounds. It literally powers the drug, sex trafficking, pedophile and other illegal markets. Criminals are literally given a free hands to do what they want and no one can track their crimes with no paper trail.
You can use #Bitcoin anywhere anyone has access to a phone. A lightning wallet and barcodes can be scanned and have an invoice paid instantly anywhere for essentially free. All with the network and security and decentralization of $BITCOMP/BTC. Nothing else comes close.
It's not perfect, but it has many advantages over traditional money. And I can spend #bitcoin nearly anywhere I want online, instantly, with fees a fraction of a fraction of a cent from my non custodial wallet permissionlessly, with no bank.
I’m normally with Cathie, but 700,000 per coin. What? Ha!
10 trillion dollar valuation on #bitcoin is what she is saying. I’m a bit skeptical as #Tesla just passed 1 trillion in valuation. That’s a complete overthrow in a financial system. Maybe it’s going to happen, however it contradicts her thesis of how technology will cause deflation. Idk. Guess I’ll have to look into her thinkin
Depends on where your entry was… seriously. But at the current stand point I still believe ether to have the better upside. Function is key I have both but ether has been a better investment. It’s subjective. #Bitcoin is archaic BUT the taproot upgrade will make it comparable to #Ethereum.
#Gold has been the same price for 10 years… actually not a hedge against inflation at all… you lost 10 years of purchasing power. I see gold going to 1500 by this years end as more of that market cap will be going to #bitcoin.
