UC San Diego I majored in Philosophy and minored in Economics (with a specialization in Finance), receiving my B.A. in June of 2000. My GPA in courses within my major and minor was over 3.9. During my last year of college I worked at the
Morgan Stanley office in Carlsbad, CA as an assistant to a broker. I talked to people about their investments and did some research as well. After college I took a job as a Research Associate at Economic Analysis LLC, now a part of
LECG Corporation (NASDAQ: XPRT). This job proved very valuable to me as I learned to analyze financial statements, research companies and markets and became an expert with Excel. I completed my M.A. in Philosophy from
UC Davis in December of 2005. While at Davis, I was a Teaching Assistant, running my own classes and grading student work, for Contemporary Ethical Issues and Critical Thinking courses. I am a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) in the state of California. Education
