Interesting argument..Christine Lagarde raised this issue several times in her IMF public speeches..i think DC is the future pie..blockchain currencies & portfolios stormed the retail markets couple of year ago reducing time processing and substantially decreasing transaction fees..this suits endusers especially those not dealing with banks..i think if central banks wish to eliminate financial illiteracy and enhance financial inclusion, so this is their golden opportunity..Also, some reports revealed that russia and china are drafting DC legislation to keep up the pace and momentum with the upcoming market changes..

Interesting article..i think fees will decline in the future when funds incorporate Artificial Intelligence and block chain technologies in their trading..some funds today are relying on quantum algorithms to spot arbitrage opportunities in active investment..in the asset allocation graph, I perceive a 28% allocation to growth stocks to be an interesting finding..may be this represent a shift in investment sentiment that favoured value stock for a long time..

Till now, in my humble opinion i don’t think any one could have solid opinions about Aramco IPO..i expect Aramco full IPO program will be conducted on several stages..what we are witnessing currently is the soft launching for the IPO mega program. I think Aramco evaluation will be clearer post finalizing the full merge and acquisition of SABIC which is expected in Q12020.. by that time and after publishing the consolidated financials, it will indicate the possibility of conducting another IPO in dual listing or not..

Thanks Alexa..I agree, many arbitrage opportunities in some stock markets might be overlooked due to minimal media coverage. That is why i try to highlight this in some articles like the one quoted above.. Regarding regions, i mainly write my thoughts about Middle east markets especially Egypt.. Regarding topics, my thoughts and interests include portfolio management, M&A, IPO's, oil & gas and international economic relations. Currently i am curiously researching the mathematical and statistical formulas used in artificial intelligence applications. i think this might be an interesting topic to read about in quantum trading and fintech...
