Mr. Matison earned a B.S. in engineering physics and a M.S. in Actuarial Science. He worked in the actuarial field for six years, and then became registered representative at Hayden Stone. Later, while working as a financial analyst at Legg, Mason Inc., he was recognized by Institutional Investor magazine as a top ten financial analyst of the insurance industry, and moved to Lehman Brothers as their senior analyst for the insurance industry. In the 1980’s he founded Kidder Peabody’s investment banking activities in the insurance industry, and later became a Director, Investment Banking for Merrill Lynch Capital Markets. He has had, and maintains today a long term interest in scientific topics, military and geopolitical issues.less
