Rice was higher last week and trends on the weekly charts are up. The market acts as if the downside has been exhausted for now but traders need to find a reason to send prices much higher.

Sugar closed lower in New York and London again yesterday on what appeared to be follow-through selling that was seen in many ag markets yesterday.

Soybeans and both products were lower yesterday on improved weather forecasts and despite the fact that the US Dollar was lower and as Crude Oil rallied.

FCOJ was lower and made new lows for the move on light volume fund selling tied to fears of a global recession and as USDA increased production potential.

Soybeans and the Soybean Oil were lower as the US Dollar was sharply higher. Soybean Meal rallied and made new highs for the move.

FCOJ was lower again yesterday on fund selling tied to fears of a global recession and as USDA increased production potential.

Palm Oil closed lower on weaker world financial markets and on expectations of building supplies inside of Malaysia.

Cotton was sharply lower to limit down yesterday on fund selling tied to recession fears here and around the globe as well as news from Bloomberg that Chinese Cotton imports will be less this year due to the Covid lockdowns seen there.
