Grains Report - Wednesday, Aug. 12
Palm Oil was higher this morning on weaker production ideas. Indonesia is forecasting less production this year. It produced 23.5 million tons in the first half of the year and this is down 8.9% from last year.

Softs Report - Tuesday, Aug. 11
Cotton closed a little higher on short-covering before the USDA reports on Wednesday. Production should be less, but demand could be a lot less.

Grains Report - Tuesday, Aug. 11
Rice was higher on Monday on speculative buying in front of the USDA reports that will be released on Wednesday morning. New crop prospects appear solid for increased production in the coming year.

Softs Report - Monday, Aug. 10
Cotton closed a little lower with all of the weakness in prices seen on Friday. West Texas weather remains detrimental for crop development. Export demand for US Cotton has been poor for the last few weeks.

Winter Wheat markets were lower and made new lows for the move. Egypt bought a lot of Russian and Ukrainian Wheat at prices that were below the tender results of the previous week.

Coffee futures were mixed or higher in New York but closed well off the highs of the day. London closed lower after making new highs for the move.
