Founded in 1858 and headquartered in Honolulu, HI, First Hawaiian Inc. (FHB) is a bank holding company providing bank services to consumer and commercial customers through its subsidiary, First Hawaiian Bank.

It operates through three business segments: (1) Retail Banking, (2) Commercial Banking and Treasury, and (3) Other.

Three key data points gauge FHB or any dividend-paying entity, namely:

(1) Price

(2) Dividends

(3) Returns

Those keys also indicate if any company has made, is making, and will make money.

FHB Price

First Hawaiian’s single share price increased 9.7% from $19.10 to $24.92 over the last two years, per Friday’s market price.

Ten analysts cover the stock and set a one-year target price up $2.38 to $27.30.

Historically, however, the FHB share price also grew at about a $2.40 average increase per year over the past 2 years.

FHB Dividends

First Hawaiian has paid variable quarterly dividends since December 2016.

It paid a dividend totaling $1.04 for 2025. And $1.04 is First Hawaiian’s forward-looking dividend amount for 2026.

FHB Returns

Putting it all together, a hypothetical $3.32 estimated gross gain per share shows up when adding FHB’s annual $1.04 dividend to the history-verified estimate of $2.28 annual price gain.

A little under $1000 invested at Friday’s $24.92 share price would buy 40 shares which, multiply the $3.32 estimated gross gain to $133.23 for next year.

About 31.4% of that $133 gain comes from an annual dividend payout of $41.70.

And that $41.70 dividend from $1k invested is about 1.7x greater than First Hawaiian’s $24.i92 single share price.

(The dividend dogcatcher rule is to only buy initial shares of a stock that pays an annual dividend from $1000 invested that is greater than the cost of a single share.)

1.7 is more than 1.

Therefore, you may choose to pounce on FHB and its annual dividend payout of about 1.7 times its single share price.

The exact track of First Hawaiian Inc's future share price and dividends will entirely be determined by market action and company finances.

Remember, the best way to track stock performance and dividend payments is through direct ownership of company shares.
