Founded by Biing Seng Wu and Jordan Wu on June 12, 2001, headquartered in Tainan, Taiwan, Himax Technologies, Inc. (HIMX) provides semiconductor solutions dedicated to display imaging.

It operates through two segments: (1) Driver Integrated Circuits and (2) Non-Driver Products.

Three key data points gauge HiMX, or any dividend-paying entity, namely:

(1) Price

(2) Dividends

(3) Returns

Those keys also indicate if any company has made, is making, and will make money.

HIMX Price

Himex’s single share price grew 6.74% from $7.72 to $8.20 last year, per Monday’s market price.

Five analysts cover the stock and the median of their one-year targets set an estimated price up $0.30 to $8.54.

However, Himex’s recent three-year price gain of $1.99 averaged $0.66 per year.

HIMX Dividends

Himex Technologies has paid variable annual dividends since June 2007, except for 2019 to 2021.

However, the September 2025 dividend of $0.37 is the forward-looking annual dividend amount projected for 2026.

HIMX Returns

Putting it all together, an annual gross gain of $0.85 per share is predicted by adding the $0.37 forward-looking dividend to a $0.48 calculated average price gain.

A little over $1000 invested at Monday’s $8.20 share price would buy 122 shares which, multiply the $0.85 gross gain to an estimated $103.66 upside for the coming year.

43% of that $104 gross gain would come from the $45.10 annual dividend payout from your $1.000 investment.

And the $45.10 dividend from $1k invested is 5.5 times more than HIMX’s $8.20 single share price.

(The dividend dogcatcher rule is to only buy initial shares of a stock that pay an annual dividend from $1000 invested that is greater than the cost of a single share.)

So, you might choose to pounce on HIMX and its forthcoming dividend from $1,000 invested that is 5.5 times more than the price of a single share.

The exact track of Himex Technologies’ future share price and dividends will entirely be determined by market action and company finances.

Remember, the best way to track stock performance and dividend payments is through direct ownership of company shares.
