Founded by Jusha Tsumura on April 10, 1893 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, Tsumura & Co. (TSMRF) engages in the manufacture and sale of pharmaceutical products.

It manufactures and sells Kampo medicine, a traditional form of medicine in Japan.

Three key data points gauge Tsumura or any dividend paying entity, namely:(1) Price

(2) Dividends

(3) Returns

Those keys also indicate if any company has made, is making, and will make money.

TSMRF Price

Tsumuras single share price fell 17.6% from $28.15 to $23.20 last year,  based on Wednesday’s market price.

No analysts cover the stock to reveal one-year targets.

However Tsumura’s recent two-year price upside averaged $2.55 per year.

TSMRF Dividends

Tsumura has paid variable semi-annual dividends since April, 2004.

However, it paid no annual dividends for the past yrsr 2025.

Therefore no forward looking dividend amount is projected for 2026.

TSMRF Returns

Putting it all together, no gross gain per share shows up when adding Tsumura’s’s unpaid dividend to a possible declining annual price gain in 2025.

A little over $1000 invested at Wednesday’s $23.20 share price would buy 43 shares which, need an estimated gross gain to calculate for the coming year.

Normally, some percentage of that gain would come from an annual dividend payout. But no payout is projected for 2026.

And that non-dividend from $1k invested is not available to compare with its single share price.

(The dividend dogcatcher rule is to only buy initial shares of a stock that pay an annual dividend from $1000 invested that is greater than the cost of a single share.)

So, you can’t choose to pounce on TSMRF who’s annual dividend payout from $1K invested is unavailable to compare with its $23,20 single share price as of Wednesday.

The exact track of Tsumura’s  future share price and dividends will entirely be determined by market action and company finances.

Remember, the best way to track stock performance and dividend payments is through direct ownership of company shares.
