Current Report: Aura Minerals

Founded on July 12, 1946 and headquartered in Miami, FL, Aura Minerals Inc. (AUGO) develops and operates gold, copper, and base metal projects in the Americas.
It operates five segments: (1) Minosa Mine, (2) Apoena Mine, (3) the Aranzazu Mine, (4) Almas Mine, and (5) Borborema Project.
Three key data points gauge Aura Minerals or any dividend-paying entity, namely:
(1) Price
(2) Dividends
(3) Returns
Those keys also indicate if any company has made, is making, and will make money.
AUGO Price
Aura’s share price grew 358% last year from $11.19 to $31.30 per Friday’s market price.
Eight analysts cover the stock.
The median of their eight target prices set a target at $42.35, which is an $11.05 increase.
Historically, however, AUGO share price grew at a $5.30 average increase per year over the past 5 years.
Therefore, I’m using that $5.30 as my upside estimate, which puts the target price at $36.60.
AUGO Dividends
Aura Minerals has paid irregular semi-annual payments since April 2021.
It missed paying a dividend in 2024 but has declared quarterly dividends for 2025, for a current forward-looking annual dividend of $1.925 annually.
AUGO Returns
Putting it all together, a $7.23 estimated gross gain per share shows up. Add AUGO’s hypothetical annual $1.925 dividend to my historic-tempered estimated $5.30 annual price gain, which equals $7.23 gross gain.
A little under $1000 invested at Friday’s $35.30 share price would buy 28 shares which, multiply the $7.23 estimated gross gain to $204.93 for the coming year.
About 26.5% of that $205 gain comes from the annual $54.40 dividend, perhaps generated from your $1,000 investment.
Furthermore, the $54.40 estimated annual dividend income from $1,000 invested is about 1.54 times greater than the recent $35.30 single-share price.
(A dividend dogcatcher rule is to only buy initial shares of a stock that pay an annual dividend from $1000 invested that is greater than the cost of a single share.)
1.54 is greater than 1.
Therefore, you might choose to pounce on AUGO with its alleged dividend payout of about 1.54 times the single share price.
The exact track of AUGO’s future share price and dividends will entirely be determined by market action and company finances.
Remember, the best way to track stock performance and dividend payments is through direct ownership of company shares.
