Hope you're all enjoying the markets lately. Bitcoin is up more than 30% since the election, Dogecoin has risen 133% and the S&P 500 is up nearly 2%. 

A lot of crypto pundits on social media are out there cautioning that people should be out harvesting profits right now because you never know how long this movement will last, but I say... this is just the beginning.

What these youngsters don't realize is that bull markets tend to have have way more longevity than bears. According to research from Charles Schwab the average bull market lasts for 409 days, and the average bull can go well past a decade.

That's not to say there won't be pullbacks along the way, but imho there will be plenty opportunity for everyone as the economy reverberates.

Sweeping Victory

As previously identified, the eight months between March and October of this year were absolutely flat as the crypto markets awaited the confirmation of Trump's election. The results however were much better than anyone could have expected with a landslide victory over all three branches of government. Plus, a wild card with Elon Musk dead set on downsizing the US government.

When Trump won in 2016 it somehow seemed like a surprise, even for him. I remember that first meeting with Obama in the White House, he looked tiered and clueless. It took months for to appoint a stable cabinet with Congress and the media fighting him every stop of the way.

That's not gonna happen this time. In a way it's a good thing that Trump lost in 2020, the four year hiatus was clearly time well spent, contemplating and strategizing. 

The effect on the economy will be profound. With the technology that we have today, advances in AI, blockchain, biotech and more, along with massive push towards business friendly deregulation, reduced taxation, smaller government and energy emancipation, we're entering a golden era that could last well over a century.
