The United States leads the world in data center infrastructure, with more than 4,000 facilities nationwide. Within the country, Virginia and Texas host the largest concentrations, with approximately 570 and 408 data centers respectively. Their dominance is driven largely by lower operating costs, favorable energy access, and state-level tax incentives. The rapid expansion of this infrastructure highlights the broader push by the United States to maintain leadership in artificial intelligence and next-generation computing.
