Businesses are rapidly adopting AI, but the pace varies significantly by industry. 46% of Information Technology companies use AI, compared with just 9% of Food Services and Accommodation businesses. Manual and service-heavy industries may take longer to adopt AI, even as its applications expand well beyond technology. Other industries already above the 22% average include Professional & Technical Services, Finance & Insurance, Education, Real Estate, and Health Care & Social Assistance.
