*One exception there is Roche which was among the companies whose arthritis treatments were approved for handling covid-19 by the World Health Organization. RHHBY.

*Another drug share up was Bausch, a US firm, whose dry eyes drug NOV03 completed enrollment of its trials. BHC.

*Takeda got US orphan drug designation for Pemacure against mecasermin rinfabale, which treats IGF-1 deficiency in children with amyotropic lateral sclerosis. TAK is Japanese.

*Another US winner was CBOE, not only tipped by Value Line but also reporting a 20% increase in options trading volumes from May to June.

*Jefferies cut the Nintendo gaming stock to hold from buy but we are sticking with it because our India reporter Abhimanyu Sisodia likes its new platform. NTDOY is Japanese.

The biggest gains are in the energy sector.

*Energy Fuels, UUUU, rose 2.3% at the opening because it is shipping US rare earths for separation to Estonian Neo Performance Materials as the first of moves to add Europe to its base to stop dependence of Chinese rare earth products.

*Cameco, another Canadian, together with GE-Hitachi will build small modular BWRS.300 nuclear reactors using CCJ fuels to reduce greenhouse gases.

*A big winner was Canadian Solar CSIQ, a maker of solar panels in China, up 6.2% at the opening because of hopes for solar hopes. It also will list its shares on the PRC Star market by the end of 2021.

*Computer Modelling which is hard to track with my brokerage account barely covering the pink sheets, today shot up over 4% at the opening to $4.21 US. CMDXF is an orphan holding.

*Another gain was by CAE, up 0.52 % because it became carbon neutral and socially responsible as the first aerospace firm to meet the standards. It hit $31.16 today.

*However, Schlumberger Ltd, SLB, fell hard.

*Mexican Fibra Uno, a REIT, gained 6% at the opening. It is now controlled by Banco Actinver SA and I have no idea if the ADRs still are active. FBASF.

*Tomra Systems, the Norwegian maker of reverse vending and sorting machines, today rose 5.53% perhaps for currency reasons. Norwegian business is mostly energy-related. TMRAF.
