The problems #Tesla is experiencing now have been long coming. As soon as the company committed itself to manufacturing a mass market car it was obvious cash flow problems were going to occur. Think this stock is heading down fast! $TSLA

#Tesla is on a tear. I'm pretty excited about it - very bullish on $TSLA.

What other companies besides #ScientificMetals could produce/supply #cobalt to #Tesla and other electric car companies? $SCTFF $TSLA

$TSLA and #ElonMusk have a solid vision and plan. It is obvious that they will not meet Q4 targets, however, the loss will not be as bad as previous losses. Moreover, the diversification into $SCTY will allow for some sort of lateral integration which will cut costs of production. Despite anticipated losses, I believe that $TSLA in the future will see profitability soar once the market has shifted to green energy. This is one of the buy and hold stocks, that may not be worth shorting in the near future.

The run up isn't warranted, however, that can be said of the whole market. The real issue to watch for on #Tesla is dilution due to needing more money and their cash and cash flow which is not that good. Tesla needs to focus on its core. Cutting growth on solar, refusing to self finance customers, and making the users pay for their purchases will help. Sadly, those who already bought their panels will be the cash hog to support their panel business for all the years they must pay for their purchases. Hopefully, they will turn out ok through electric bill savings although they maybe could have saved more with other deals.

The real fear is they default on their purchase or pursue legal ways to get out of the contract if the terms appear overly adverse to them. $TSLA

According to the chart, April has historically had seasonal trends; dips in price and spikes in volume traded. Given the exponential growth from April - October 2013, it appears that $TSLA is going to be stabilizing around the 50-Day moving average. Considering the diversification of Elon Musk's mission, we can also see how this will also diversify away from the systematic risk.

Good call on the short. Considering that volume is going to pick up soon when earnings are announced. I believe that holding $TSLA and associating other stocks that have a positive correlation to it would be beneficial. This is mainly due to the fact that global economy is switching over to green energy. Nonetheless, Elon Musk adjusted his mission, which entails not only the electric car market but also providing household energy.
