American stocks were mixed on Wednesday as the earnings season continued and as investors waited for the latest Federal Reserve decision. The Dow Jones rose by over 65 points while the S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 indices fell by over 10 basis points. 

Heritage Insurance is priced significantly below the industry and below book value, leaving plenty of upside potential for the stock.

The S&P 500 Index and Nasdaq Composite are firmly lower as well, with all three major benchmarks set to snap their weekly win streaks.

It may be hard to believe because the stock market has been in such an uptrend this year, but there are some interesting statistics for stock performance year-to-date.
