I've spent my entire career in fintech. My superpowers are building and leading great teams, growing team members’ careers, and working with strong cross functional leadership to collectively win. I also am an investor and advisor to early stage startups, PE/VC firms and financial institutions. I am a Co Founder and COO of Bond ($42mm raised, acquired by FIS in 2023). Our universal ledger stored and reconciled any type of transaction, account, and customer data, allowing our customers to build a variety of different fintech products on one platform. Many of our customers were software companies that served SMB’s, and we enabled them to open bank accounts, issue credit cards, and move money. Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, I led the Data team at SoFi , where I built the Data Science and Analytics team covering a wide variety of domain expertise including marketing, credit, underwriting, product, pricing and operations. Our team used artificial intelligence and machine learning to improve marketing performance, decrease operating costs, and reduce fraud and default rates. I started my career in the hedge fund industry, most notably as Head of Analytics for alternative data at BlackRock. My team was responsible for building alternative data sets for the Aladdin Data Platform that manages over $17 trillion in assets. I also advise companies and investors and also invest in early stage companies, and am interested in fintech, crypto, artificial intelligence, and SouthEast Asia and India.
