Another description of the "due diligence" examination of an organization prior to it's inclusion in another portfolio. Good work, it seems.

Bank Of Thailand Promises Improvement In 2021 Q2

Quite interesting, and not a single mention about the fact and detonation of the hundreds of tons of high explosives that did so much damage recently. That will take quite a while to recover from and repair the damage, by the way.

The bank must surely be infused with the same culture of corruption that permeates the moneyed class folks, at least that is how it smells from where I stand.

Thus a comparison of actual results to the promises will be interesting and informative.

Volatile Markets

An interesting introduction indeed. I do not judge and pass sentence on what others do, although I certainly may have opinions. And if the Government in China asks for my advice I will provide it, if not, then not. That goes for the Pope as well. I respect a much higher authority than either of those.

And certainly the markets are being a bit volatile, which is because of the emotions of those fearful folks involved. Those who are chained to fears will be led by them, that is how it works.

housing and the housing market, it is clear that money is far too cheap right now. Way to many builders are producing the McMansions that are far beyond the budget of those needing better housing the most. Of course the profit is much greater but at some point things just do not seem quite right.

Perhaps more interest paid on savings and more interest on borrowed money could benefit the majority of the population a bit. But I am aware that such is a radical concept.

An interesting point of view expressed hre, that a sales growth of ONLY 0.5% is somehow a tragedy. That attitude stinks of greed big time!. If sales were good last year then the same level must certainly be good this year. Constantly expecting more, more, and more is a bit vulgar, really.

To do as well as last time while so many folks are suffering economic woes is quite good, in reality.

What has not been considered is the probability that when eventually the plague is subdued and the economy starts to recover, that folks will forget all about the way the banking system treated so many of them. The history shows that people will suffer quite a bit with no response, until some unknown limit is reached, at which point the response will be far more than reasonable. As a current example, look at the BLM reactions, and secondary reactions and repercussions.
