Trent earned his Bachelor of Science in Financial Economics from Brigham Young University-Idaho. He went on to earn a law degree from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University where he took a number courses in tax and estate planning. Trent also graduated from the Executive Taxation LLM program at the Georgetown University Law Center. In conjunction with this degree, he completed a Certificate in Estate Planning. Trent’s preparation for a career in financial planning began early in life. With some help from his father and grandfather, Trent began investing in stocks at the age of 12 with money earned from delivering newspapers. In college, Trent decided he wanted to be a financial advisor and gained valuable experience as a life insurance agent. Trent is from University Place, Washington and currently resides in Scottsdale, Arizona. He is an Eagle Scout and has run 9 marathons, including the Boston Marathon with his father in 2009. Trent is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish and spent two years living in Brazil as a young adult. He enjoys travel, reading, sports, music, the outdoors, and spending time with friends and family.less
