I advise and manage investment accounts and financial plans for international professionals and families. My primary specialty is helping Americans living outside the US set up and maintain IRA, 401k, 529, and other stateside tax-advantaged accounts alongside offshore accounts, but have also worked with clients who have retirement plans in Hong Kong, Singapore Australia, the UK, and now Switzerland. The investment accounts I manage include direct stock and bond investments as well as ETFs, futures and options. I run licensed investment management and advisory practices in Hong Kong, the United States, and Switzerland. I am a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (TEP = Trust and Estate Practitioner), and collaborate with trust service providers to assist clients with long-term estate planning. Accomplishments: * Helping several young medium to high income professionals become high net worth individuals through regular savings and investing. * Generating income for retirees in a low interest rate environment. * Experience in providing capital protection, growth, income, and market access solutions to over 100 clients totalling over US$1 billion in total capital invested. * Regular speaker and instructor on US-China investment strategies, fixed income, and alternative assets. * Traded Soc Gen's first Thai Baht denominated credit-linked note * Traded CIBC's first Canadian dollar interest-rate linked EMTN in Asia since 1998 * At Bear Stearns: first commodity-linked note, first exchange-traded note (on US MLPs), first long-short index note, and first US algorithmic indices, and first notes linked to equity markets in India and Turkey * At PlaceWare (now Microsoft): developed a real-time algorithm for calculating tiered pricing of web conferences with large numbers of users, and awarded a patent (with Bob Anderson) * Travelled to over 80 countries, including 23 emerging market countries visited on a continuous train tour from Turkey to Singapore in 2009less
