My focus is in Network Protocol Design and Implementation - from the Adaptive Streaming Layer to the Network Transport layer down to the upper layers of MAC protocol design. I have worked for some of the principle contributors to 802.3, 802.4, and 802.20 (David Redell, Jerry Saltzer, Avneesh Aggrawal). I have prototyped the backbone software for startups (FTP Software and Graviton, Inc.) I have commercialized research and development in real-time systems analytic / CAD tools, in industry. I have recruited and led small teams (2-3 people) in year-long software projects before.
